African heat for the whole week, weather alert in Sardinia: temperatures up to 45 degrees are expected

Weather alert issued by the Civil Protection from 8pm this evening and until 8pm on Thursday 13 July due to the heat wave hitting Sardinia.
Record temperatures above 40 degrees are expected throughout the week, with a peak on Wednesday when in some places on the island it could touch and even exceed 45 degrees .
"In the coming days - explains Antonio Sanò, founder of IlMeteo.it - temperature peaks of up to 35-37 degrees are expected on the northern plains, up to 38 in the center and even over 42 on the two major islands".
Hot temperatures, therefore, that will not give a break even at night. Those that await us are tropical nights, with skyrocketing humidity and values that will practically never drop below 22/23 degrees in most of the country.
In the meantime, the regional civil protection confirmed throughout today, Monday 10 July, the danger of "high" level fires , with an orange alert in the Cagliari area.
