African anticyclone on the island: hot and muggy until August 20, peaks of 40 degrees in the shade

After the mistral storm that brought down temperatures and fueled the fires that devastated the island, the African anticyclone is back and will bring the great heat back to Sardinia and will go on for the whole of next week.
A progressive increase in temperatures that will reach their peak in the middle of next week, without touching the flare-ups of July, when in some areas of Sardinia the thermometer rose up to 48 degrees.
If in the Center-North the African heat arrives already at the weekend and will continue until August 20, in the South we have to wait until the middle of next week. In the inland areas of the island we will also reach 40 degrees in the shade , 8 less than the record set on July 24th , but still an exceptional value, even more considering that we will already be in the second ten days of August.
