Accident at the crossroads near Pirri: car overturned

Accident with overturned car this afternoon shortly before 3:30 pm in Pirri, at the intersection of via Flavio Gioia, via Torricelli, via del Canneto and via Vesalio.

The dynamics are still unclear: after the collision between two vehicles in the middle of the roadway, a small car remained, with its wheel in the air. An ambulance from 118 was needed to rescue the driver: she was taken to the hospital with a red code, but the severity code depends on the dynamics. Her life is not in danger.

Local police officers intervened on site to carry out surveys and manage traffic, which suffered heavy slowdowns.
