Abodi confirms: «Work will begin in the next few months on the new stadium in Cagliari named after Gigi Riva»

«Sardinia is a hospitable land full of charm and traditions, where finally, after 10 years of waiting, in the next few months the works of the new stadium of Cagliari will begin, which will be named after the great champion, Gigi Riva».

Thus said the Minister of Sport, Andrea Abodi , who this morning participated in the opening ceremony of the Triathlon World Championships in Alghero .

The minister also dwelt on the major events taking place in Sardinia during this period: in Alghero, in addition to the Triathlon, there is also the national Beach Soccer championship, while in Olbia the stage of the World Rally Championship "Italy-Sardinia" will start in the next few days.
