A spectacular double rainbow appeared around 17.30 in the sky over Cagliari .

The splendid shot comes from a building in via Kock: the two complete colored arches, which remained visible for a few minutes, were immortalized as they illuminated the eastern sector of the metropolitan area.

An unusual phenomenon. The main rainbow is the inner one. The secondary appears when the raindrops crossed by the sun's ray are sufficiently "large" and the light beam "bounces" inside them, creating a new refraction.

Note the placement of the colors: it is reversed, with red being placed inside and purple outside.
