A showcase is rekindled in the center of Guamaggiore: it is that of craftsmanship and traditions

For a whole day the streets and the historic center of Guamaggiore have been a showcase for local traditions, with stands of crafts and ancient crafts. Thousands of visitors participated in the 16th edition of the review “ Trades, traditions, tastes and flavors of legumes in sa bidda de ziu Paddori” promoted by the Pro loco association (the president is Giantonio Tronci) with the collaboration of the Municipality.

A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a reality like that of the small town of Trexenta where culture and traditions have always characterized the life of the town. And so it was: with the participation of the masks of the Is Scruzzonis group by Siurgus Donigala and the typical masks Is Crebus of Sinnai, of the folk groups Efisio Vincenzo Melis of Guamaggiore, Is Messaius Sant'Isidoro of Barbusi, of the accordion of the master Giampaolo Piredda , of the Musica Sarda association of Nuoro and with entertainment for children by Elena Cicu.

The protagonists were the artisans, local producers and housewives of Trexenta, with guests arriving from Segariu and Villacidro who offered their delicious dishes for tasting: from bread to fregola.
