Attempted murder in the night in Ploaghe .

Someone shot Roberto Masala, a 45-year-old farmer living in the village, in the face .

The man was sleeping in his country house , in Peruchi. He heard noises coming from outside, opened the door and saw only a flame from the gunshot that was shot in his face by someone who then immediately walked away.

The injured farmer managed to call the police.

Transported to the Sassari hospital from 118, he was hospitalized in serious but not life threatening conditions : the small caliber bullet remained lodged in his cheek bone , but Masala always remained conscious.

The police are investigating.
