The Lussurgese Protection section, with its thirty members, has been working for the community and the municipal territory for three years now with targeted cleaning and safety interventions in some sensitive areas. It was fundamental during the pandemic, and in the 2021 fire emergency, with various operational interventions for the hydrogeological reorganization and safety of the territory.

Last month, in collaboration with a team from the Province, it cleaned the ditches along the provincial road 15 between Bonarcado and Santu Lussurgiu, and rearranged the slopes to ensure the lateral flow of rainwater, thus preventing the water from stagnating in the center of the road. roadway.
