State Road 126 is closed in San Giovanni Suergiu due to a serious accident. For reasons yet to be determined, two cars and a van collided, and after the impact, both vehicles ended up off the roadway.

Several people were injured, one of whom was in serious condition and transported to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari by air ambulance. Ambulances, law enforcement officers, and the Carbonia firefighters were on site. ANAS personnel were also present to manage traffic.
