«My husband risked dying because of a hit-and-run driver. He was about to kill a family man: crazy."
VL's appeal launched from Cagliari is angry. The woman recounts what happened yesterday shortly after 9.30 pm on the median axis, near the Eni petrol station: «My car was completely hit, my husband was driving: the car that took it touched he was walking at a very high speed, perhaps 150 kilometers per hour."
After the impact, the hit-and-run driver «ended up off the road, climbed onto the ridge on the side of the road and continued running at breakneck speed. He didn't stop to help my husband or see the damage he had created."
According to the public complaint, the vehicle was an older model dark gray Yaris. Now its passenger side is destroyed: "If anyone has seen something, please help us", asks VL, who will go to the police today to file a formal complaint.
