A large Palestinian flag flies from the Bastione Saint Remy, symbolically, like a cloak. Around, dozens of smaller flags have filled Piazza Costituzione, in a sit-in organized by the Sardinian Committee for Solidarity with Palestine to say “Let’s stop the war”.

In the Sardinian capital another action arrives, clear and direct, in one of the most recognizable places of the city to say: enough war, enough genocide, enough complicity. The committee, in the convocation, called citizens to mobilize against "the genocide of the Palestinian people, Zionism and imperialism that are dragging us into a new world war".

During the demonstration, among the phrases relaunched by those present, one resounds as a synthesis of the protest: "This is not a war against the people of Iran, against the Palestinian people, against Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq or Syria. This is a war against humanity."

"Colonization must end, the attack on Iran is an attack on anyone who wants to oppose imperialist plans. An attempt to cover up the tragic things that are happening in Gaza," said Samed Ismail, Palestinian youth national insurance.

No procession, therefore, but only a clear visual and political presence, which chose simple symbols – flags, bodies, words – to denounce a conflict that, according to the promoters, concerns everyone.
