In Cagliari, everything is ready for the 13th edition of the Fish Festival , in the Sant'Elia district. A weekend – that of 5 and 6 August – which celebrates the historical and cultural roots of the city, and does so starting from the table .

The event was presented today at the Lazzaretto, an art and culture centre. For the municipal councilor for productive activities and tourism, Alessandro Sorgia , «the festival is much more than a simple gastronomic event. The event, organized by the old village of Sant'Elia fish festival association, provides for a weekend of celebration and conviviality. «Visitors will have the opportunity to delight themselves with delicacies, prepared with skill and dedication by a hundred volunteers.
