New hearing today in Nuoro as part of the trial of 13 pastors accused of road blocking on the occasion of the demonstrations that took place on February 13, 2019 for what is known as the "milk war".

The breeders are involved in two separate proceedings before the same judging panel: in the first 9 breeders are at the stand for the protests in Siniscola, in the second another 4 for those at the Lula bridge.

The defense of the accused, represented by the lawyers Giulia Lai, Adriano Sollai, Marcella Cabras and Michele Zuddas, called upon several people to testify, including the mayor of Nuoro, Andrea Soddu, and the leader of the Liberu separatists, Pierfranco Devias, at the candidate era in the regional elections. All said they had participated in the demonstration in "support of the pastors' dispute" but had not witnessed "any violence". The hearings have been postponed to May 25.

In front of the court, today as in the past, a solidarity sit-in was held promoted by Libertade, which was also attended by the separatists of Liberu and Sardigna Nazione. "The hearing went very well and we are all very happy - said Giulia Lai, vice president of Libertade at the exit - We continue to be in solidarity with those who demonstrated in 2019 for their rights and today they are accused and unjustly punished. Among other things, we want to be in solidarity with a category that is still suffering now from the increase in the prices of raw materials ". "We continue to support the just demands of pastors against a repressive process that aims to criminalize workers who have only asked for dignity and justice," added Devias for Liberu.
