Another 24 hours have passed and the center-right has still not found an agreement on the next regional elections in Sardinia .

One day the three-way Tajani-Salvini-Meloni summit, one evening the Psd'Az meeting, another at the federal council of the League in Milan. Today the wait was for the Council of Ministers, on the sidelines of which the leaders of the three main national parties were supposed to untie the knot.

Nothing, everyone remains on their own positions for now. Truzzu is now the candidate, the decision is up to Lega and Psd'Az and this must annoy the mayor of Cagliari who this morning, intercepted by the Rai Agorà broadcast, said: « I would have done without seeing Sardinia at the center of the debate national for these issues. I hope he comes into it for other matters ." On the choice of Carroccio and sardisti, "we are waiting".

Minister Lollobrigida also spoke about Sardinian regional regions today for FdI ("Solinas did not govern badly, but ours is better") and the vice-president of the Chamber Rampelli ("Truzzu has a high approval rating and leads the Sardinian capital very well, on his name, I am sure that the whole coalition will be there." The prime minister's party has extended its hand to the League by opening the law on the third mandate of governors which affects the Veneto and the possibility of re-nominating Luca Zaia.

But the Northern League insists on Solinas. Deputy secretary Andrea Crippa on Tagadà (La7) confirms that the rift still exists: «We have an excellent ruling class and we believe that the outgoing governors should be reconfirmed because they have worked well, in Abruzzo as in Sardinia ». And he throws a jab at Meloni: " Silvio Berlusconi is sorely missed at the moment ."

The President of the Regional Council Michele Pais confirms: « We remain in our position of confirming the outgoing candidates, Rome will summarize the Sardinian results ». Regarding the split, he sends a clear message to Truzzu and FdI: « We work for the unity of the coalition, we were certainly not the ones who made escapes forward ».

« For the first time – the reply of Meloni's party – the center-right decides the presidential candidate in Sardinia. It is surprising that there is a desire to bring this issue to a national level at all costs ."

It has been said for days that these are crucial hours, but the countdown has now begun: a decision must necessarily be made during the week, in fact the lists must be presented by Monday evening. And if the return of the League to the ranks seems almost obvious, the future of the Psd'Az is more uncertain . Neither the solo race nor the alliance with Soru are excluded. On Friday, after (it is presumed) a definitive decision has been made in Rome , the national council of the Sardinians meets in Oristano: «If this alliance (the centre-right, ed.) becomes something else, the party will decide», the mayor limits himself to saying councilor Gianni Chessa .
