In a house, around 8 this morning, the lifeless bodies of a woman, Stefania Pivetta (56), and her daughter Giulia (16) were found. In the house there was also a second son, Nicolò Maja, aged 23, currently hospitalized in serious condition for a head injury.

It was the neighbors who raised the alarm and called the police.

The carabinieri of the provincial command arrived at the place of the double murder and arrested a 57-year-old man, Alessandro Maja, the father of the boys, now guarded in the hospital, who also attempted suicide: he was still stained with blood. He is suspected of being the perpetrator of the murder of his daughter and the femicide of his wife carried out by hammer blows in the night.
