With the car in the canal, mother and daughter drowned
The women were trapped in the car
Tragedy in Stanghella, in the province of Padua.
Two women, mother and daughter, drowned , trapped in their car that ended up in the early hours of today inside the Gorzone canal.
They tried in every way to get out of the cockpit , but it was useless.
The firefighters intervened on the spot to recover the car and the bodies.
The victims were named Pamela Breseghello , 48, and Anita Bertazzo , 75.
