Who are the Covid deaths who had completed the vaccination cycle? These are “hyperfragile” people with a higher average age than that of the unvaccinated (85.5 versus 78.3) and with a higher average number of pathologies (5 versus 3.9).

This is what we read in an in-depth analysis of the periodic report of the Higher Institute of Health, published today and based on 671 medical records from 1 February to 5 October 2021. In the period considered, the deaths from Covid in Italy are 38,096: of these 33,620 without no dose of vaccine, 1,440 full course vaccinated.

The analysis "indicates that the presence of heart disease (ischemic heart disease, atrial fibrillation and heart failure), dementia and cancer was found to be higher in the vaccine sample".

From the observed results "it is possible to hypothesize that very elderly patients with numerous pathologies may have a reduced immune response and therefore be susceptible to SarsCov2 infection and its complications despite having been vaccinated".

Does this mean that it is useless to get vaccinated? No, far from it. These very fragile people with a reduced immune response are those who would benefit most from a broad vaccination coverage of the entire population, because “reducing the circulation of the virus is the best way to protect them”.

In recent days, no vaxes have been pouncing on Mike Powell's death to challenge the effectiveness of the vaccine. The former US secretary of state died of Covid despite having completed the vaccination cycle.

Powell, 84, had long suffered from multiple myeloma, a bone marrow tumor underlying a substantial inability to produce antibodies, further weakened by chemo. Precisely the profile of the patient who, according to the ISS, does not respond well to vaccination and remains at high risk of death. And therefore it should be protected from the rest of the population.
