The cyclonic circulation which in the last few hours has brought rain and thunderstorms to many areas of Italy is moving away towards the Balkans and for this weekend the weather will return to conditions closer to those which fall within the "normality" of the month of June.

«In the next few hours the sun will be dominant over our country, especially in the Centre-South – explains Antonio Sanò of iLMeteo.it - in the North there will be scattered cloud cover with some isolated showers in the Alps. Maximum temperatures will not exceed 31-32°C in the South, 26-28°C in the Centre-North. You'll be fine."

More or less the same script over the weekend, except for a few more clouds in the north.

For the rest the weather will be nice and sunny and not yet hot: «Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 33-35°C only in Sicily and Sardinia, in the Centre-North we will reach 30, an acceptable temperature for mid-June».

It must be said however that, in a pleasant weather period, strong storms will not arrive but rather the African Anticyclone, even more powerful and extensive. From next Monday it will be very hot, up to 34°C also in Rome (not excluding 38-39°C in Marche and southern Umbria), up to 42°C in Sicily and Sardinia; the heat will expand to Northern Italy with a humid and therefore very muggy 33°C, and even with peaks of 36°C expected in Emilia Romagna from next Wednesday.
