Thousands of people are expected today in Rome and Messina at the demonstration organized by Non una di meno on the occasion of the international day against violence against women. No flags of parties or unions, the floor will be given to women, including - it was specified - Palestinians, Iranians, Kurds, with the Fuchsia movement which will ask for an end to the war in Palestine.

But politics still looms large: the secretary of the Democratic Party Elly Schlein underlined: «The Democratic Party has always participated in the Non una di meno demonstration and will participate this time too».

Last night the facade of Palazzo Chigi was illuminated during an event in which Giorgia Meloni recalled: «We are free and no one can think of possessing us. If love hurts, then it's not love", the slogan launched by the government.

In Sardinia there are numerous events organized in the various municipalities, and for a few days now schools have also launched initiatives to raise awareness among young people.
