The government is about to send the color system of the regions to the attic, as requested on several occasions by the governors, while we move towards the simplification of the rules for the schools and the extension beyond six months of the validity (which will probably be unlimited) of the Green pass for those who received the booster.

"After two years of pandemic - said the Minister of Regional Affairs, Mariastella Gelmini - I find it correct to talk about it, with common sense, to update and simplify the measures, also in consideration of the excellent results achieved thanks to the vaccination campaign".

On the archiving of colors, according to the Undersecretary of Health Andrea Costa, it is necessary to "keep the red zone as a control and monitoring area, but removing all restrictions in that area means giving confidence to the citizens, those 47 million who have been vaccinated and to all economic activities ".

There is also reasoning on the other strong proposal of the Regions, that of not classifying patients who are positive for the virus but in hospital for other diseases as Covid hospitalizations.

Any new measures will first be discussed at the political level and then included in a decree. It will therefore probably be discussed next week when the picture should be clearer on the Government and the Quirinale.

THE GREEN PASS - We are moving towards the elimination of the six-month duration of the green certificate for vaccinated people who have received the third dose. There will probably no longer be a deadline for them.

The administration of the third dose started in mid-September and in mid-March there will already be the first Italians with the expired pass, despite having done three doses and there is, at the moment, no indication regarding a possible fourth dose. The hypothesis is therefore to eliminate the deadline for trivaccinates.

SCHOOL - The school is another of the sectors in which action will be taken. "We are thinking - informed the Undersecretary for Education, Barbara Floridia - of streamlining the tracking and resizing the quarantine, especially for the little ones: ten days are too many".

ARRIVALS FROM ABROAD - The question of the buffer for those arriving from abroad was instead defined, with Regions and tour operators asking for it to be eliminated.

Health Minister Roberto Speranza has in fact signed the new ordinance: for travelers coming from EU countries, the Green pass will suffice and the buffer will no longer be needed.

DEIDDA: "SARDINIA STILL DISCRIMINATED" - For Salvatore Deidda, deputy of FdI,   Sardinia continues to be discriminated “as for travel to the island - from Italy - it is mandatory to show the Super green pass. The Sardinian citizens, absurdly, would find fewer obstacles for returning to the island, traveling from a foreign country rather than from the national territory. This is all absurd. The Sardinians no longer have to pay for the contradictions of this government ”.
