Extremely serious accident in Marciano della Chiana, in the province of Arezzo, where two 12-year-old girls were hit by a car as they left school. The driver was a 60-year-old who stopped immediately to help them.

The injured are admitted to the Meyer hospital in Florence where they arrived under code red. They suffered various fractures in the collision.

Investigations are underway and the police are investigating.
