The bodies of the two mountaineers who died on the Matterhorn were recovered this morning by the Aosta Valley Mountain Rescue.

They were on a consortium and when they did not return to the valley yesterday the alarm went off, with the start of the searches. From what emerged, the two (who are probably of Swiss nationality) fell in the area of the Cresta del Leone, they were at about 3,100 meters above sea level.

The financial police of Cervinia also took part in the activities.
