Double, macabre discovery in Traversetolo, in the province of Parma.

On August 9th, the buried body of a newborn baby was discovered in the garden of a small villa in the village. Now, in the same field, a second body has been found, which also in this case would belong to a very young child.

The Parma Public Prosecutor's Office has started investigations, which are continuing in the utmost secrecy, ordering analyses with DNA sampling.

"There was already a complex and particular news that shocked the entire community. If this second news were to be confirmed, the general picture would become even more tragic and chilling," said the mayor of Travesetolo Simone Dall'Orto to TvParma's Tg.

"We hope - he continued - that the investigators who are working on this case can clarify things as soon as possible". And he added: "We have no idea, it is such a big thing that it is difficult to comment. Many people, like me, are left speechless".

After the first discovery, the preliminary results of the autopsy said that the newborn, a male, breathed and died after birth, although the causes of death were not clarified. The examination is being carried out by the forensic doctor Valentina Bugelli and a fetologist, appointed by the Prosecutor's Office.

The mother was identified by DNA as a 22-year-old local woman, as was the father, who was the same age as the girl.

The young woman was described by those who know her as a student without any particular problems. The family has turned to a lawyer, who in turn maintains confidentiality.
