Truck-School Bus Collision: About Thirty People Involved, One Victim

Accident around 4.30pm today along the Pedemontana, in Lomazzo (Como) , in the section that passes through a tunnel under the hamlet of Manera.

A truck and a school bus carrying elementary school children were involved.

About thirty people involved: one victim was registered, the teacher , a 54-year-old woman who was sitting in the front seat, next to the bus driver. Two red codes, the bus driver and the truck driver , and 25 green codes: all the children, a school group from Azzate, practically unharmed . On site, 118 vehicles and firefighters. The A36 motorway was closed to traffic.
