A four-year-old child died in Peccioli , in the province of Pisa , following a fall from the stairs .

According to an initial reconstruction, the little boy would have bumped into a glass artifact (it looks like a bottle) which shattered, causing deep cuts in his neck .

The tragedy took place on a farm where the child, of German nationality , was on vacation with his parents and a younger brother .

When the rescuers arrived, his condition immediately appeared very serious .

The helicopter rescue for emergency transport to the Meyer hospital in Florence is also in action, but unfortunately any attempt to save him from vira turned out to be in vain .

The carabinieri also intervened on the spot, who seized the room where the accident occurred and started investigations to ascertain the dynamics and responsibility of the incident.
