Two boys are under investigation for personal injury and fraudulent insolvency who last Friday escaped from a restaurant in via Dante, just outside the pedestrian area of Como, without paying the bill, and beat up the owner who was chasing them. The Province of Como reported the news.

The two boys - he a 25-year-old from Varese, she a 21-year-old from Vimercate in Brianza - ate and then ran off without paying the 45-euro bill, a bit like the group of Italians who were filmed as they left a restaurant in Albania in a video that later went viral (complete with an account paid by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni through the Italian embassy).

However, the owner of the Como restaurant, a 47-year-old of Chinese origins, chased the customers and caught up with them in nearby Piazza del Popolo where they kicked and punched him. In particular, a kick in the face made him pass out.

For this he was transported to the hospital where they gave him a thirty-day prognosis for a microfracture of the jaw and a slight hemorrhage.
