An 18-year-old died and two of his peers were seriously injured following a road accident that took place in the early hours of Saturday morning in the Forcola area, in the province of Sondrio.

The three boys were in the car and were on their way to school, right in Sondrio.

However, the car, due to causes now being examined by the carabinieri, went off the road and crashed into a wall that runs along the Orobie provincial road.

The wounded were extracted from the semi-destroyed passenger compartment by the Morbegno firefighters: the most serious died during transport to the Lecco hospital. His companions, on the other hand, find themselves hospitalized with a reserved prognosis.
