Fear in the center of Milan, where a 27-year-old homeless attacked some police officers.

It all started in Piazza Oberdan, in the Porta Venezia area, when the young man, a citizen of Cameroonian nationality, was asked to show the documents for a check.

The boy had no intention of showing anything: first he insulted a local police officer, then he attempted to attack her and her colleague through the open window of the patrol car where they were.

Then he fled, throwing a bottle at the police van. When he was surrounded by policemen he hit one of them with a beating to the head as they tried to block him even using the sting spray. Then he escaped to via Settala, where he gave another beating to an agent.

He only gave up when, after the stinging spray was over, one of the police officers fired a shot into the air.

The agent who took the hardest blow remedied a fracture of the skull: transported to the Fatebenefratelli hospital, the wound was sutured with five stitches, now he is under observation.
