The writing "assassins" appeared this morning on the side wall of the church of the Holy Trinity, in whose attic on 10 March 2010 the body of Elisa Claps was found, the girl killed 17 years earlier, in 1993, by Danilo Restivo.

The writing was made on the wall overlooking Via Pretoria, the main street of the Lucanian capital. The author "stretched" the writing for several meters, traced in black.

The church was reopened for worship on August 24th, the first mass was celebrated on November 5th amid protests from several citizens and during a demonstration promoted by the "Libera" association.

In fact, the belief of many is that the parish priest Don Mimì Sabia, who died in 2008, is one of the many who contributed to covering up the case, certainly one of the most controversial figures in the Elisa Claps case.

Danilo Restivo was arrested in 2006 in Bournemouth, England, for the murder of his neighbor, the dressmaker Heather Barnett. The man is currently serving his sentence in England and only in 2014, 21 years after the crime, was he sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Elisa Claps.

What appeared today is the first writing on the wall of the church since it was reopened.
