The two pilots, one of them Sardinian, who were on board an ultralight that left Cesano di Senigallia and crashed not far away in the Monterado di Trecastelli area, in the province of Ancona, were saved almost by a miracle .

The aircraft, a Tecnam P92, lost altitude for reasons under investigation: the pilot attempted an emergency landing near the Cesano river, in a dry area. Perhaps the vegetation softened the blow and the two people on board survived.

They are NC, who piloted the plane, and AS, of Sardinian origins and resident for years in Rimini , where he held the role of commander of the Helicopter Unit of the Guardia di Finanza.

Both were transported to Ancona hospital with various fractures but their lives are not in danger.

Firefighters, Carabinieri and 118 rescuers were on site.
