There are two suspects in the death of Mahmoud Sayed Mohamed Abdalla, an Egyptian citizen, killed in the night between Sunday 23 and Monday 24 July and thrown into the sea. His body, with severed head and hands , was found in the waters in front of the small port of Santa Margherita Ligure.

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Genoa, Daniela Pischetola, ordered the arrest warrant against two Egyptian citizens Abdelwahab Ahmed Gamal Kamel and Mohamed Ali Abdelghani.

The charges are those of murder and suppression of a corpse.

The investigations continue to clarify the contours of the crime and the motive.

According to an initial hypothesis, Mahmoud was killed after a dispute with his employer triggered by the fact that the boy wanted to leave the Chiavari barber shop to work in another business.
