New details are released in these hours on the murder of Luigi Criscuolo, known as "Gigi bike", found dead on December 20 in the Calignano hamlet of Cura Carpignano, in the Pavia area. The body, in an advanced state of decomposition, was in a field in front of a villa. An anonymous letter was left in the mailbox of the owner of the house along with a photo of the man's body. The woman's son, a child, made the macabre discovery. In the letter, written on the computer in an ungrammatical Italian, it is said that the 60-year-old had been entrusted with the loot of a robbery carried out years ago in Oltrepò Pavese (300 thousand euros in cash and jewels), which Criscuolo would not have returned in the appointment of the 8th. last November in Calignano, the day on which the disappearance dates back. Some personal items such as a watch, a black wallet, photos of his wife and daughters are also described, and the man's family members are then threatened if the loot is not returned.

It would have been the same killers, on the morning of December 20, to intercom at the villa, inviting the landlady to come out because "there are things that may interest her" in front of the gate. But the woman had not gone out being convinced that someone just wanted to warn her that rubbish had been dumped in front of the house.

He denied the investigators any relationship with Criscuolo, he would never even know him.

The phone records of the victim's cell phone and the images of the cameras of the area where the body was found are now under examination.
