That ballet to the notes of “Jerusalema”, the hit of summer 2020, carried out during the oath in the non-commissioned officers' school of Taranto cost a disciplinary procedure for a lieutenant. After the request for indictment, the prosecutor asked the military gup of Naples for the acquittal of the charges of "continued pluriaggravata disobedience" as "the fact does not exist".

"I remain of the idea that the young officer should have been rewarded by the Navy. Instead she was subjected to disciplinary and criminal proceedings," commented her lawyer, the lawyer Giorgio Carta. "I trust that the Navy wants to archive and definitively close this unnecessarily traumatizing affair for a young mother commander and enthusiastic about her work", he added.

Satisfaction also for the lawyer Floriana De Donno, who defended the non-commissioned officer who was equally targeted for his "collaboration": "Distracting himself from the media hype of the ballet, the judge has been cutting, the crime does not exist. No orders, no disobedience ".

In the video, the recruits were seen framed in platoons in the forecourt of the barracks, then the commander, in white uniform, with a saber and a blue scarf, entered the scene and, on the notes of "Jerusalema", began to dance and everyone as much as the they had followed.

A video that was very popular and went viral but that the Navy did not like at all, considering it "highly damaging to the image" of the Armed Force, due to the "message of serious superficiality" that would be transmitted. In short, a "bad example" for young people who had just taken the oath and who were involved in a ballet "deplorable in form and substance".
