There was also Paolo Fresu among the protagonists of the first two evenings of celebrations for the Centenary of Riccione.

Celebrations skipped after yesterday's tragedy on the A4 motorway , in which five boys with Down syndrome died, traveling with the Centro 21 association of Riccione, and their driver, the former mayor Massimo Pironi.

The Sardinian trumpet player, together with two other artists who should have performed, the singer Ron and Mirko Casadei , heir to the "King of Liscio" Raoul, associated himself with the pain of the Romagna city.

All three artists are " struck by the terrible news " and made themselves available free of charge "to recover a date in the future to pay homage to the victims of this tragedy".

“In particular Fresu - explained Casadei - told me he was unable to sleep thinking about what happened, to those very young boys who lost their lives . This tragedy has left us speechless and we are available to organize an event, obviously very different from those we canceled as a sign of mourning, in memory of those who unfortunately are no longer there ”.
