That blood found in room 104 of the former Astor hotel in Florence is not Kata's.

This is what emerges from the genetic tests carried out by Professor Ugo Ricci on behalf of the Florentine prosecutor's office.

No traces of the little girl were found even in the two trolleys and the bag that had been seized from two Peruvian cousins and a Romanian citizen last June 17 , when the former hotel that had been occupied illegally for months was cleared out.

There has therefore been no breakthrough in the investigation into the disappearance of the 5-year-old Peruvian girl, but in the meantime the prosecutor's office wants to hear a new possible witness who on June 10th, the day of her disappearance, heard a woman calling the little girl before disappearing into thin air. The woman indicated by the witness is the one who, according to Kata's parents, has not told everything she knows about the kidnapping.

THE RENTAL RACKET - Meanwhile, due to the danger of repetition of the crime, the Court of Review confirmed, as part of the "parallel" investigation into the alleged rent racket at the former Astor, the extent of the arrests in prison for Abel Alvarez Vasquez, known as Dominique and Kata's uncle . The same measure was confirmed for two other Peruvians, Carlos De La Colina Paolomini known as Carlos and Nicolas Lenes Aucaucasi.

The Prosecutor's Office disputes, for various reasons, the crime of extortion, including attempted extortion, robbery, injury and attempted murder. De La Colina and Alvarez Vasquez, according to the judges, "dominated, imposed money to access the rooms of the occupied former hotel and reacted violently to any insubordination" . The two "never showed any understanding towards those who had housing problems like them, demanding large sums of money to grant spaces and rooms in the former Astor, showing greed and human ferocity".

In particular, on the evening of May 28, the investigations reconstructed, in the former Astor hotel the four suspects carried out a punitive raid with clubs and sticks against three or perhaps four families of occupants. An Ecuadorian jumped from the window of the building to escape the attack.

A few days later little Kata disappeared.
