A 25-year-old young man was charred to death after the collision between the car in which he was travelling, an Alfa Romeo Giulietta, and a van. The dramatic accident, which also involved a Mercedes, took place this afternoon in Romentino, in the province of Novara, almost on the border with Lombardy.

After the terrible impact, the vehicle caught fire and there was no escape for the young man. Initially there seemed to be two victims but, after the intervention of the firefighters, it was discovered that there was only one body.

The local police officers and the carabinieri will have to reconstruct the dynamics of the crash, which resulted in two other injuries: their conditions do not give cause for concern.
