The Anti-Terrorism Unit gives the green light to the revocation of 41bis for Alfredo Cospito
The anarchist detained in Bancali became the protagonist of a long hunger strike to protest against harsh prison terms
The National Anti-Terrorism and Anti-Mafia Directorate requested, during the hearing before the Surveillance Court of Rome, the revocation of 41 bis for Alfredo Cospito , detained in the Bancali prison in Sassari.
This was made known by the lawyer Flavio Rossi Albertini, lawyer of the anarchist protagonist of a long hunger strike to protest against the harsh prison regime to which he is subjected. Protest interrupted last April after six months, when there was a possibility for the sentence to be reduced.
The judges' decision is expected in the next few days. The hearing was scheduled after a request from the defense lawyer against the rejections by the Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio of two requests for early revocation of the hard prison regime to which Cospito is subjected.
