Companies with fewer than 15 employees will be able to temporarily replace the worker without a green pass. And the pay stop is triggered from the first day the employee arrives at the workplace without a certificate. The suspension from work instead starts from the fifth day.

These are the first clarifications of Palazzo Chigi after the decree approved yesterday by the government.

In small businesses with few employees, for example a bar, only one employee without a pass may be enough to block the business. This is why the employer of a company with fewer than 15 employees is allowed to temporarily replace the worker without a green certificate.

The decree does not provide for disciplinary consequences and excludes dismissal. There are penalties ranging from 600 to 1,500 euros for those caught without a pass in the workplace.

By Monday the decree - after the signature of the head of state - will be published in the Official Gazette.

The obligation of certification to enter the workplace will come into force from 15 October until 31 December: the goal is to unhinge the hard core of the no vax.

Meanwhile, the share of immunized has exceeded 40 million, equal to 68% of the entire population and 76% of the vaccinable population.

Now there is a month to untie the various knots that the provision delivers to public administrations and companies: from the intersection of the obligation of the Green pass with the return to work in the presence (a number of no vax personnel will in fact request the smart working) to the difficult organization of the services of law enforcement and firefighters (for example in the Police there are 17 thousand unvaccinated, in the Penitentiary Police 13 thousand), to the extension of the validity of the molecular swab up to 72 hours contested by the experts.

There is also discussion about the admission of salivary swabs. "If the CTS and the scientific evidence tell us that it offers sufficient guarantees to be able to introduce it as a requirement in the green pass - explains the Undersecretary of Health Andrea Costa - for us it would be a question of having an extra tool".
