Edoardo Galli , the sixteen-year-old who disappeared last March 21 from Colico (Lecco), was found this morning in Milan's Central Station .

The boy was buying a ticket to go home . This was recognized by a couple of travellers, who immediately notified FS Security staff who, in turn, requested the intervention of the Railway Police. The police reported it.

The searches had been going on non-stop for eight days, digging into friendships, social contacts, acquaintances at every level.

The young man had not given any further news after leaving home to go to school at the Nervi Ferrari high school in Morbegno, in the province of Sondrio, where he never arrived.

If initially the searches were concentrated mainly at high altitude in Alta Valsassina, where it was feared he had ventured given that a sleeping bag was missing from home, the investigations were then concentrated precisely in Milan, starting from the Central station .

On March 21st Edoardo, instead of going to high school, which he had always attended successfully until now, had in fact headed by train towards

Milan, where he arrived at the Central Station, identified through video surveillance cameras.

In the last few hours there had been new appeals from the family. The fear was that he had "ended up in something bigger than himself".

Now the young man will have to reconstruct what happened.
