Promotional video during the crossing which ended with the tragic shipwreck in front of the Steccato di Cutro beach .

The smugglers shot the videos, with the aim of promoting the safety of the journeys of hope and praising the organizers .

One of the survivors, the Iranian Rezappourmoghaddam Motjabu told the judges of Crotone in the probative incident in the investigation against the alleged smugglers.

The videos were also acquired by the prosecutor's office. The filmed migrants were asked how they had found themselves on a "cruise" and to praise what is presumed to have been the organizer of the crossing, the trafficker who had a sort of travel agency in Turkey.

At least 94 people died during that dramatic crossing.

And in his testimony, the Iranian survivor addressed the smugglers directly, looking the two arrested present in the courtroom in the eye: «For a boat that was worth a maximum of 20,000 euros, which you wanted to bring back to Turkey, you killed innocent women and children to earn millions of euros. How does your conscience stay clear?” .

The witness clearly indicated them as those who led the boat to the Calabrian coast where the shipwreck occurred.

The Iranian, with the help of a photo album, also indicated the roles on the boat , by the commanders (indicated in the Turkish Gun Ufuk arrested in Austria, in the Syrian who is deceased and in another person who is untraceable) while for the two Pakistanis under investigation (Khalid Arslan and the minor) said "they slept with us in abandoned houses in Istanbul before leaving for Izmir" adding that on the boat they acted as intermediaries to translate orders and to keep order. In particular, then, he indicated in the courtroom Sami Fuat as "a person who did not give orders but it was clear that he was dealing with an important person".
