Sexual violence foiled last night in the center of Milan, thanks to the anti-violence gesture of the 4 fingers with which the victim attracted the McDonald's waitress, who understood and called the police.

A 23-year-old undocumented North African was arrested. The attack, against a 19-year-old girl, began on the benches in Piazza della Scala at 1.30am. The victim, terrified, was unable to resist the young man and was following him towards his home

When she passed a McDonald's in via Torino, which was closing, she asked to go to the bathroom and at that moment she met the waitress to whom she gave the so-called "signal for help". Then he went back on the road with the young man, but the waitress called the police and followed the two. At the Colonne di San Lorenzo a police car blocked them and the girl confided in her, confirming the situation. The young man was taken to the police station and the judicial authority ordered his transfer to the San Vittore prison to await the validation interrogation.

THE EVENING

The 19-year-old, in the city for a concert, after spending the evening at the disco, returned to the hotel around midnight and then went out again for a walk in Piazza Duomo. There she met a group of boys and girls with whom she stopped to chat. The young people, one by one, left the group to go home and she was left alone with the 23-year-old.

The two sat on a bench in Piazza della Scala, at which point he changed his behavior, began to stretch out his hands and insist on holding her back and forcing her to go to his apartment: «Stay with me. You don't have to leave. You have to come to my house,” he told her, also threatening her. «I have two faces, one bad and one good. If you walk away I'll tear you to pieces." Then he pinned her down and started kissing her.

Then the two walked towards the apartment and she, terrified, followed him. Then she saw the McDonald's open and was saved, also thanks to the promptness of the waitress.
