Runs out of gas, gets out of the car but is run over and killed by a drunk man
Driver arrested, blood alcohol three times over the limit

Overwhelmed and killed by an SUV driven by a completely drunk man, while she was waiting to be rescued after she was stranded with the car.
This is the dramatic fate of a 30-year-old woman, Margherita Lotti, originally from Orsago (Treviso). The tragedy took place right in the Trevisano area, in San Vendemiano.
According to an initial reconstruction of the incident, the 30-year-old had to stop by car, at night, on an overpass, after running out of petrol. She then asked for help and, waiting for the arrival of her friends, she got out of the car.
Suddenly, however, an SUV came and hit her. In the terrible impact, the woman was thrown over the railing of the flyover, dying instantly.
The driver of the SUV, a 50-year-old local, was later found with a blood alcohol concentration three times the maximum allowed and was arrested for road murder.
