Robbers break into the house and try to gag the owner, she bites them away

Robbery in a house last night in via Amiterno, in the San Giovanni area, in Rome .

The thieves entered the house by breaking down a grate and attempted to gag the owner , a 67-year-old Roman woman. But the woman managed to bite one of the robbers and her screams attracted the attention of the neighbors .

The robbers escaped taking away some gold jewellery. The police are investigating the matter.
