« Emanuela Orlandi on 22 June 1983, at 8 pm, was already in Civitavecchia, where she was put on board a boat from the tourist pier and taken to Sardinia, and exactly as far as the Santa Teresa di Gallura dock. This place was chosen on purpose because the radio signals of the Italian and French radio beacons crossed in that strait. This allowed, due to the obsolete technologies of the time, not to be tracked, since one radar created interference with the other".

This is the revelation, published by Corriere della Sera, about the young Vatican citizen who disappeared into thin air 40 years ago, in Rome.

However, the Island would have been only a first stop, because the track on the girl in fact leads to London.

« Pietro Orlandi talks about this trace and other things - writes the Milanese newspaper - on the DiMartedì program on La7, but another "highly confidential" document has also been circulating for a few weeks, received by Corriere, which describes the alleged movements of the fifteen-year-old, since night of disappearance".

This document, writes Fabrizio Peronaci , a journalist who has been dealing with one of the greatest mysteries in Italian history for years, «seems to mix true facts with unverified circumstances and is linked to the document disclosed in 2017, branded as false, containing the (alleged ) note-expenses of 483 million lire allocated by the Vatican to keep Emanuela alive. The signature is: "a servant of the Republic"».

«Following the information in my possession - continues the drafter of the document - I can state with extreme certainty that Emanuela passed from Sardinia to foreign countries. For this type of strategy, technique and implementation, sleeper agents of the Gladio or SB section were used, who with their knowledge both at a technical-operational level and at a territorial level guaranteed safe passage in an area that was in any case attentive".

And again: «Up until 2000 Emanuela Orlandi may have been a guest in England "under the protection" of an ecclesiastical foundation... The could is a must, because tracing it officially becomes complicated: in fact, according to British jurisprudence certain foundations are not obliged to communicate information about benefactors or associates…».

With regard to the dossier, Pietro Orlandi, Emanuela's brother, told Di Martedì on La 7: « What is written in that document is true, I am quite convinced of it . It is not the work of mythomaniacs. When it was branded as a forgery, I continued my investigations and came into possession of documents in which there are confirmations that tell me that what is written in those papers is true. Some people, in contact with personalities of the Anglican Church, told me things in relation to Emanuela's presence in London ».

Who is behind the kidnapping and why the young woman was kidnapped, after 40 years, still remains a mystery.
