First the Forconi, then leader of Orange Vests (a less successful copy of the French yellow ones), today convinced "no-vax" and no Green pass, one of those he calls the vaccine "experimental serum".

General Antonio Pappalardo is in trouble again: after the complaints for the demonstrations in the streets in the middle of the pandemic, he is demoted by the Ministry of Defense which takes away the stars and the title of general for disciplinary reasons.

The leader is on a rampage: "It's an attack on my political rights, but we don't let ourselves be intimidated," he thunders.

The career of the now former officer begins in 2017, with the "Forconi" threatening the march on Rome aboard their tractors. Because "the Parliament is illegitimate, and therefore also the government and the President of the Republic", he says in the demonstration in which he announces the flagrant arrests of parliamentarians. The ex-deputy of Forza Italia Osvaldo Napoli also pays for it, attacked a stone's throw from the Chamber in an attempt to deliver him the "notification of arrest".

Since then, demonstrations and objectives have changed, now he supports the protest against vaccines and the Green pass.

The videos and statements on social media in which he presents himself as a general of the carabinieri, in some cases also posting images in uniform, have led the disciplinary commission to revoke his rank, despite being on leave for years. Attitudes judged to be "in sharp contrast with the values relating to the oath taken, the degree held and the obligations of loyalty and correctness connected with military status".

"Two years ago I had already been suspended - the comment of Pappalardo - but then the investigating judge dismissed the case 'because the fact does not exist'. And so the TAR revoked the suspension. So this decision does not take into account two sentences. lawyers are considering whether to denounce the commission for attacking the rights of the citizen ".

He is ready to return to the streets, even if not with the no-vax people where - he says - "there are extremist fringes, with someone who even showed a swastika". On 20 October, the dismissed general announces, the Orange Vests - which today have changed their name to "Ethical Coalition" - will meet in Piazza del Popolo. Obviously the "notifications of arrest", Pappalardo notes, are already ready.
