The baby found in the entrance hall of a building on the western outskirts of Milan this afternoon is about a month old.

Next to the newborn a note written in Arabic.

The carabinieri and the 118 rescuers arrived on site, in Via degli Apuli, and took the little boy to the De Marchi clinic.

He was wearing clean clothes, appeared in good condition and was in a stroller. It was a North African who raised the alarm and explained that on the paper there was a reference to the fact that the mother had died in childbirth and that the father could no longer take care of him.

Now investigators are looking for further elements.
