There is also Chef Rubio among the 20 people who allegedly insulted Liliana Segre.
The senator for life had filed a complaint on 6 December 2022 with the carabinieri of Milan for online threats and insults dating back to the months between October and December 2022.
The telematic section of the investigative unit has now closed the investigations entrusted by the prosecutor by tracing the owners of a series of anonymous profiles from which Segre had received insults.
The identified are 17 men and 3 women. In addition to Chef Rubio, born Gabriele Rubini, there are professionals, doctors, insurers, nurses. There is also a 47-year-old from Pietrasanta linked to far-right political movements. All have been reported to the judicial authority, which will now have to decide who to enroll for the alleged crime.
The allegations are electronic defamation aggravated by ethnic, racial and religious discrimination.
