Seventy-two-year-old man killed after being hit by tree in woods

Tragedy this afternoon in the woods of Pereto (L'Aquila), in the Marsica area, where a 72-year-old man died crushed by the weight of a fallen tree for reasons yet to be clarified.

On site, in Camposecco, 118 personnel intervened with the helicopter rescue, law enforcement and firefighters, but unfortunately there was nothing that could be done for the man. The carabinieri are investigating the dynamics .
