A proven fraudulent system to obtain substantial compensation from insurance was discovered in Caserta, with the carabinieri who arrested six people, including professionals and "procurers" of customers, on the orders of the investigating judge of the court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere. Twenty other people are under investigation, with the role of having favored or benefited from the system, with various roles, including those of false witnesses.

The investigation also revealed some disconcerting details. For example, the involvement of minors, to make requests more "convincing". Like the case of a child of only 11 years old (perhaps not the only one), purposely beaten by three people, including his mother, to pretend the consequences of an accident that never happened and thus obtain the relative reimbursements.

The little boy had been beaten, causing trauma to his face, lip and cheekbones. And in the hospital the mother had explained that the child had been the victim of a car accident.

At least fifteen episodes ascertained by investigators.

Among the people involved are also two lawyers, one of whom, 42, is believed to be the head of the organization.

The investigation started in 2018 following an attempt by a man, who was later investigated, to cash a forged check at a post office in Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
