An explosion in Naples, on Via Peppino De Filippo, near Via Foria, left one dead and at least four injured, including a woman in serious condition.

The explosion was apparently caused by a gas leak from some cylinders inside a technical room of a restaurant.

There was considerable damage to a building and some apartments overlooking the street. Firefighters and agents from the Naples Police Headquarters were on site.
